A Solar Outdoor Fountain
A Solar Outdoor Fountain
Have you always wanted to enhance the look of your house? Stop looking! Solar water fountains are the perfect solution - they bring beauty to any home and at the same time add financial value to the property. They are the same as electric fountains in that they help with one's overall well-being but they also offer financial benefits. While your initial expenditure may be higher, the long-term savings are great. Despite periodic power shortages, your fountain will not be affected as it does not run on electricity. Running water fountains will lead to a spike in your electric bill. Even though you might not instantly notice the short-term benefits, remember that your home will undoubtedly gain in value in the long-run.
Higher costs is not the only issue with using more electricity, the environment takes a big hit as well. The only source of energy used by solar powered water features is sunlight making them a “green” alternative. The environment can only benefit from the use of solar powered homes and water fountains.
Less maintenance is a result of adding this kind of fountain. Since solar fountains don't have motors, they don't get clogged which leads to less cleaning. And less cleaning equals more time to play!
The Early, Unappreciated Water-Moving Solution
The Early, Unappreciated Water-Moving Solution In 1588, Agrippa’s water-lifting discovery captivated the interest and praise of Andrea Bacci but that turned out to be one of the final mentions of the device. Only years afterward, in 1592, the earliest modern Roman waterway, the Acqua Felice, was attached to the Medici’s villa, possibly making the device obsolete. This is all the more heartbreaking bearing in mind how spectacular Camillo Agrippa’s system was, totally unique in Italy during the centuries which passed between the downfall of ancient Rome and the contemporary era. Although there were various other worthwhile water-driven designs either planned or built during the latter part of the sixteenth century, including scenographic water presentations, giochi d’acqua or water caprices, and musical fountains, none were nourished by water like Agrippa’s technology.
